How to register for the class?

The best way to register for the course and reserve your spot is online registration on our website. Click on the " Registration" button that is on every page on the right-hand top menu. Once on the registration page you will have to provide your name, e-mail address, address, phone number and you'll be offered the course that  you wish to register for. After you submit this information you will be shown a link to Paypal. Remember your registration is only complete upon payment.

You do not need to have a Paypal account in order to pay through Paypal. Once on their website you can also pay with Visa or Mastercard. You will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately upon payment.

Can I pay on the start date of the class?

With little exeptions our classes are filled in advance and to secure your spot you need to provide payment in advance.

What is Toronto Salsa Passion about?

TsP is about uniting Salsa lovers in Toronto and exposing as many new people to this exciting dance. We offer weekly Salsa lessons in various levels: From complete Beginners to advanced Perfomance level.
If you are looking for a challenging yet rewarding experience,  would like to perform and want to push your dancing to the next level through intense training, keen on learning and performing various dance forms, and eager to hit the stage, we have special perfomance  classes  for you!

I've never danced Salsa before, is TsP for me?

Yes!, Never danced Salsa or any dance before?, Have two left feet?, not a problem! Our beginner level is designed just for that. Our talented instructors will take you step by step until you master Salsa basics, and will get you moving in no time!

How do I know which level I am at?

If you've never danced salsa before, or are only familiar with some of the basics, Level 1 would be a great start for you. More experienced dancers can consult the course description (courses page) or one of our team members to help determine the right level.

Do I need to bring a partner?

No. While couples are definitely welcome, bringing a partner is not a necessity. Most of our students come by themselves but leave with a few new friends. During class, we frequently rotate partners because dancing with a variety of different types of dancers is always helpful and it also creates a fun-filled, interactive environment.

What should I wear?

There is no dress-code for our classes. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing to allow for easy spins, dips and other fun moves! Dance shoes are recommended for ladies.

How long is each class?

Each class lasts 1 hour. Weather permitting, after each class we also continue with Street Salsa!

Does TsP organize events and outings?

Yes. TsP organizes frequent Street Salsa events and group outings to Salsa clubs. Check out the events page for upcoming outings, or join our Facebook group for continous updates and events.

Do you offer private lessons?

What is our cancellation policy?

100% refund minus a $10 administrative fee for cancellations at least 2 week prior to the start date of the class. Cancellations between 1 week before the class start date and after your first class receive a 50% credit towards the next semester. No credits or refunds after the day following the first day of class.

Please make take a note that it takes lots of effort to ensure equal amount men and women in our class therefore the cancellation policy is strict in addition the classes are sold in advance and we want to make sure people who registered are committed to complete the class and progress to the next levels.
